I love RHCP with my whole heart, but the song that so clearly inspired 'Californication' would be 'Elevation' by Television and it is an astronomically better song, (though 'Californication' is a classic in its own right), so can it be their all-time best?

Pretty cool list. Thought a few songs were out of whack, but I suppose it’s all subjective. Tear, Strip My Mind, Wet Sand and Power of Equality are four I thought could of made the list. Either way it was an interesting read. Fight like a Brave…

Great list overall! Obviously these things are subjective, but I agreed with almost all in the top 35 or so. Surprised to have seen Zephyr Song so high but super glad it’s not forgotten 😁 also glad Venice Queen and Easily are in there. Such a wide catalog, hard to choose.
