Netflix has released the first-look photos for Thai Cave Rescue, the limited drama which will unravel the boys' stories, and those of their families.

, the long-in-development limited drama centering around the untold stories surrounding the 2018 rescue mission of the youth soccer team in Thailand. The six-episode miniseries will be available for streaming on September 22.photos, which you can check out below along with the key art poster, provide our first look at the young cast who will be portraying the 12 boys who got trapped inside a heavily flooded cave. It also highlights the brave rescue team who risk their lives to save them.

is created by Michael Russell Gunn and Dana Ledoux Miller, who are also serving as showrunners. The series was filmed entirely in Thailand, with“The world banded together in 2018 to watch anxiously and ultimately with relief as a dozen boys from youth soccer team the Wild Boars and their coach were rescued from a flooded cave in Northern Thailand,” reads the synopsis.

Set to portray the Wild Boars team are young local actors including Pratya “Tiger” Patong, Songpol “Pangpon” Kantawong, Chakkapat “Junior” Sisat, Thanawut “Bank” Chetuku, Teeraphat “Gun” Somkaew, Thanaphong “Pluem” Kanthawong, Thanapat “Utha” Phungpumkaew, Apisit “Fluke” Yukam, Watcharaphol “Kim” Puangsawan, Thapanot “Nam-Ning” Huttapasu, Apisit “Chit” Saengchan and Rattaphoom “Fluke” Nakeesathid.

Additional cast includes Papangkorn “Beam” Lerkchaleampote as Coach Eak, Thaneth “Ek” Warakulnukroh as Chiang Rai governor Narongsak Osottanakorn, Urassaya “Yaya” Sperbund as Kelly, and Manatsanun “Donut” Phanlerdwongsakul as Pim.hails from an international group of filmmakers consisting of directors Nattawut “Baz” Poonpiriya and Kevin Tancharoen, with John Penotti, John Logan Pierson, Lance Johnson, and Tim Coddington.
