The TGI Fridays at 709 Route 70 follows the closings of seven Garden State restaurants. Most of the chain’s planned closures were located in New Jersey, which included Eatontown, Hackensack, Iselin/Woodbridge, Marlton, Princeton, Springfield and Wayne Town Center.. TGI Fridays offered over 1,000 transfer opportunities to employees impacted by the closings, “which represents over 80% of total impacted employees,” the company said.
TGI Fridays, which originally opened in 1965 in New York City, now operates more than 650 restaurants in 51 countries.
