Kick back into a summer vibe with this music app - KRLD NewsOur App today is called Poolsuite FM. This is a fun simple music app that's perfect for summer music listening. It's a retro-looking interface of a station that plays summer type of music. It comes with seven different music channels, each one comes with that feel of what summer used to be during our childhoods and teen years. Just pure fun. The app has an interface that makes it look like a Mac computer from the 80s. There are summer-type dance songs or something that doesn't have such a funky sound. All the music is upbeat and will make you want to move. It's just a way to chill out and kick back into a summer vibe. You can even create your own station of your favorite summer songs. One other fun feature. The app has a camera that can take black and white photos that you would have seen during the 80s. They're all grainy and pixelated and simple fun. Veteran NWS meteorologist explains why this heat is unique - KRLD NewsNorth Texas is under an excessive heat warning through 8 p.m. on Tuesday. The National Weather Service anticipates the heat index (or 'feels like') temperature to top 110 degrees! National Weather Service, Fort Worth, Senior Meteorologist Eric Martello says he's only seen this kind of heat/humidity combo a few times in his 30 years. 'Even though the temperatures themselves are fairly normal for this time of year,' Martello says. 'It's this near-record humidity that we've only seen probably three, four or five times in the last 50 to 60 years that's causing the problem.' So Martello encourages Texans to drink plenty of water, limit time outdoors, get in the shade, and wear light-colored, breathable clothing.
