A Republican primary for the Texas House of Representatives' 29th District is heating up, with one candidate accusing a man he claims supports his rival of deliberately leaving several hundred bees outside his campaign tent in the town of Pearland on Sunday.Jeff Barry alleged the bees were left by Doug Holloway, a local beekeeper who he said has been campaigning for GOP rival Alex Kamkar, though this hasn't been independently confirmed by Newsweek.
His campaign also said they saw Holloway putting up signs supporting Kamkar on Sunday afternoon.However, according to KHOU, Holloway has said he supports both candidates in the election.In a statement, the Kamkar campaign said: 'Our campaign was not present at the poll site since polls were not open, nor were any paid campaign workers present.
