A Texas man pleaded guilty after being charged with shooting and killing a man at a truck stop in Union Township in Hunterdon County last year, officials said. David L. Rodriguez, 45, of Alamo, Texas, pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree aggravated manslaughter before Hunterdon County Superior Court Judge Angela Borkowski on June 22.
Rodriquez was charged in January 2021 with shooting and killing Ricardo Menezes De Castro at a truck stop on Jan. 23, 2021. The Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office conducted a joint investigation with the New Jersey State Police. Already, some doctors report they’re compromising care out of fear of violating the law. Texas may be a harbinger of what’s to come if the U.S. Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade. The cruelty is the point ain't no 'if' about it you libby bushwhackers This is based on the premise that 'care' is abortion. That is fundamentally incorrect; being 'cared for' does not justify physical harm/killing another person. If a doctor is afraid of violating the law, they are likely attempting to perform abortions with minimal consequence.
