Do the crime, do your time. That simple

What is wrong with people.., what’s worse a violent person or covit-19. With either you don’t know the outcome , but there are way more survivors from covit than deaths..

To solve all problems with criminals you need to install gas pipes in all jails, every three months you turn on the gas and eliminate everything, jails should be clean and empty

If they let these violent people out its dangerous for people outside so being in jail they have the virus possibly A catch 22

Violent criminal record......enough said! Smart governor

Where do these politicians get off thinking they got a right to kill people

Violent offenders, sorry I draw a line. They need to be quarantined with proper equipment/treatment but no leniency on release.

What a POS this man is.

The EO prevents those with violent histories or arrested or a violent crime from obtaining a *personal recognizance* bond. They can still be released on a cash bond, and SOME FORM of bond is required under Texas' Constitution (in most cases). Fix this garbage article, .

The Republican-ruled states are the most tyrannical places in America and I don’t know why conservatives keep lecturing others about how much we need freedom and patriotism when they’re opposed to all of these things.

That’s definitely not legal

No bail for innocent people?

That is great. But what about the inmates now? They don't have 5-7 years to wait out a lawsuit.

Doesn't seem like a valid reason for bail.

What kind of inhuman person is down there governing in Texas?
