Texas' top law enforcement officer has threatened to sue leaders in the state's capital over their coronavirus mask requirements.
Attorney General Ken Paxton in a letter to Austin Mayor Steve Adler and Travis County Judge Andy Brown said he would sue unless local mask mandates were rescinded by Wednesday at 6 p.m. local time. But both local leaders say they won't back down, setting the stage for the latest showdown in a long-running, nationwide clash over public health rules that often breaks along political lines. Sixteen states have no statewide mask rule.
Someone please make sense out of this... 🤔
Another bozo in Texas besides the Governor-
On what grounds? Not a good look to sue people because they are not endangering their people. 🤦♀️
David Smith we all need to raise our vibrations as a collective. The news agenda is to lower our vibrations through fear and divide and conquer tactics
The other states should bam texans from traveling out of state
Wow! Someone that believes in the rule of law and peoples rights!!! And doesn’t believe in the media mob. Imagine that!
What's so wrong being considerate and not wanting to infect others with a virus by wearing a mask? I really don't get it!
Can austin worker's sue the AG directly if any of them catches the virus because of this lawsuit
Well the leaders in Travis and Austin have more brains than Governor Abbott!
🤨
Fools!
