The Tesla Cybercab - a.k.a. Robotaxi - appeared in an official teaser 2 months before its unveiling. The autonomous EV will have a two-seater cabin without a steering wheel The aerodynamic exterior features two upwards-opening doors, a sleek roofline, and covered wheels at the back. In a surprise move, Tesla showed us bits of the upcoming Cybercab, which is set to debut on August 8.
The mechanism appears to be somewhere in between Lamborghini's scissor doors and McLaren's butterfly doors. We can also distinguish the aerodynamic silhouette of the EV including a sloping roofline and covered rear wheels, giving it a futuristic stance. Earlier in the video there is a photo of the lower front bumper area, revealing Cybertruck-esque surfacing, a dark-finished bumper, and an integrated splitter.
