The NTSB investigation found that the man had previously complained about his Tesla steering him toward the concrete barrier that eventually became the scene of the fatal crash.
The man even attempted to show his family how the car steered left when they passed the location once, the documents said. The NTSB released photos showing the Tesla with its roof sheared off after it slid under the semi-trailer.
Why don’t these IDIOTS learn from previous deaths that they have to be fully engaged while sitting in this car?!!! They cannot be asleep, eating breakfast while driving, reading a book or playing video games!!!
So , he means those barriers were sucker !!!
Rip
That’s why I wouldn’t trust those cars.
Suicide plot
If anyone is dumb enough to let a machine drive for them. .
And yet he used the same autopilot again, and what happened to driving yourself.
elonmusk hiring Security Engineers?
Drive the car yourself
Soooo driver complained about car aiming toward same barrier previously and yet...
Whoops. Self driving not ready yet.
I drive a car with lane keeping assist and just before I go over a particular bridge it always thinks there’s a car and freaks out. I take it out of lane keeping and cruise control just before I get to the bridge now...
so he kept driving it on autopilot?
Not to make light of life that was lost. It's begs to question? Why would you keep using this feature in the same dangerous location/situation. I don't understand.. RIP
I have serious concerns about anybody who trusts a car blindly to take them from point a to point b. Relinquishing control of a vehicle to AI should just not be allowed. Too many unpredictables! Glad I can't afford one.
