Terry Gilliam Complains About #MeToo And Says “White Males Are Blamed For Everything”

Gilliam sat down for an interview published Saturday by the U.K.’sBut the director said he was “so booored” talking about the Adam Driver-led movie, and instead discussed several hot button issues.

“#MeToo is a witch hunt,” he said. “I really feel there were a lot of people, decent people, or mildly irritating people, who were getting hammered. That’s wrong. I don’t like mob mentality. These were ambitious adults.”The U.S.-born British writer and director went on to insist that white men around the globe are under attack., of being blamed for everything that is wrong with the world,” Gilliam said as he held up hands.

“I don’t like the term black or white. I’m now referring to myself as a melanin-light male,” he stated. “I can’t stand the simplistic, tribalistic behaviour that we’re going through at the moment.” “When you have power, you don’t take responsibility for abusing others. You enjoy the power. That’s the way it works in reality,” Gilliam insisted.

It’s only been two years. How about the women who had to put up with sexual harassment/abuse for all these years from now into the 1900s and even further. Not all men are abusers, but in Hollywood there seems to be a lot. MeToo TerryGilliam

Not everything but think about it, white men are responsible for most of it. It's time they accepted that facts. But take consolation, some of the blame does fall on colored men as well.

I support MeToo but he's not wrong. Stop demonizing ppl based on color & gender. Americans also need to understand that by blaming white men for everything, you're helping that dumb Orange Cheeto win and get reelected.
