Terry Crews sparks outrage with controversial tweet about 'Black supremacy'

He added, "Our people are tired of white people who put on a good face a claim they 'arnt racist' while operating and benefiting from the privilege of a clearly racist system. We’re not trying to do this alone. We KNOW we can’t. But we refuse to have allies who won’t go the distance." Crews replied, "I agree. I'm not discussing white people here. there are 'gatekeepers of Blackness' within our own community who decide who's Black and who's not. I have often been called out for not being 'black enough'. How can that be?"

Crews wrote back soon after: "Kevin, I've learned that people will take anything you say and twist it for their own evil. Anything."

The message he was trying to say was we need to work together. He may have worded it in a way that sounded bad, but the meaning behind the words was well-intentioned.

Black Supremacy is the wrong term Terry. Black hypocrisy is the term when they tell how black you should be based on their scale but it is only an opinion and who cares wtf other people outside friends and family think ?

As always, if you don’t agree with the outrage culture, you are wrong. Guy made a statement and is being attacked by his own people, it’s ridiculous.

The guys who responded to Crews insist that they must 'vigorously vet our allies' because white people will betray them. Crews is right: these morons will never build a successful coalition to do anything. You don't 'vet allies'. Just be glad you have any.

It isn’t for me, a white woman to say or even think about. A black man speaking about his own community is his right. And no, I am not saying he is right or wrong, I am saying that he is speaking his truth to his people.
