The Grand Slam winner's representatives said she was skipping Wimbledon for "some personal time with friends and family" ahead of the Tokyo Olympics.

"Naomi won’t be playing Wimbledon this year," Osaka's representative said in a statement."She is taking some personal time with friends and family. She will be ready for the Olympics and is excited to play in front of her home fans."The Grand Slam title holder beat Jennifer Brady in the Australian Open in February, cementing her position atop pro women's tennis in 2021.
