Gov. Tom Wolf is term-limited from seeking re-election. His lieutenant governor, John Fetterman, is running for the open U.S. Senate seat. Douglas Mastriano, Republican, from Franklin County, is a state senator who was first elected to represent the 33rd senatorial district in a 2019 special election and re-elected to a four-year term in 2020.
Jake Corman, Republican, from Centre County, has served in the state Senate representing the 34th senatorial district for six terms and was elected president pro tempore in 2020. Austin Davis, Democrat, from Allegheny County, is a former executive assistant to the Allegheny County executive in his second term representing the 35th District in the state House of Representatives.
