A teen has been arrested on suspicion of attempted first-degree murder after a shooting on Sunday in Capitol Hill, according to the Denver Police Department.
Abdulla Jele Mugoya, 18, was arrested after a short foot pursuit on Sunday and is facing an attempted first-degree murder charge, a class two felony punishable by up to 48 years in prison,The shooting happened at East 12th Avenue and Lincoln Street, police reported at 3:32 a.m. Sunday. One victim, an adult male, was found suffering from a gunshot wound and taken to the hospital. Police believe there was an altercation between Mugoya and the victim prior to the shooting.Gov.
