Police in Pike County are investigating a local employee for an inappropriate video posted on social media.

Superintendent Wes Hariston says the incident involved a video a teacher posted on Snapchat exposing himself. He says the video was on the teacher's "story" and several students were able to see it. May 3, 2024 The teacher has been placed on paid administrative leave.

As I understand it, it was on Snapchat and his Snapchat story, that’s as much as I really know at this point," Hariston said. "We will just have to wait to get the results of this situation in order to determine what his future with the district might look like."We hope to have an open line of communication with both those organizations and get to a rapid conclusion to this our students deserve that," Hariston said.
