Let’s Stop the Social Media Shame and Instead, Show More Compassion and EmpathyWe’re all doing our best during the coronavirus pandemic—including runners. I’m a runner. I wear a face covering. I go around ppl, onto t/grass or onto t/street, rather than zoom past them w/2 feet of space. I don’t spit. Runners deserve criticism when it’s due. I’m lucky to live and run in a low populated area. I run alone, no mask,on trails and some roads. I feel for those who live in heavily populated areas. Running clears my mind and helps me get through this nonsense. I am lucky to have fields behind our neighborhood where I can run with few to no people in the morning.
