The idea is to lower taxes on America's middle earners in a package dubbed 'Tax Cut 2.0.' Yet one of the early ideas floated — reducing the 22% marginal rate to 15% — could miss the mark.

Reducing the 22% marginal rate to 15% would deliver a $770 million tax cut through 2025, according to an analysis by the Tax Foundation.

In mid-November, Larry Kudlow, Trump's top economic advisor, told CNBC's "Closing Bell" that any plans for a so-called Tax Cuts 2.0 are in the "very preliminary stages right now." — the idea is to lower taxes on America's middle earners in a package dubbed "Tax Cut 2.0." Yet one of the early ideas floated — reducing the 22% marginal rate to 15% — could miss the mark.

"If cutting the rate doesn't really accrue to those folks, then maybe you look at broadening eligibility for refundable tax credits as a more direct route for a middle-class tax cut," Bunn said.

Let’s run that deficit up! Deficits don’t matter! $50 trillion here we come!

Do it President Trump we support you!

Oh goodie! More deficit!! And another excuse to cut social programs. Selling out the future yet again...

On the other hand ,how about deficit will be ?

Trump sounds right from multicultural middle class perspective some places want just welfare even if they got graduate license, only 'eat sex and go to church' they doesn't want to work any more or travel as well targeting music entertainment energy tobacco alcohol industries.

Elections year ...... democrats should say they're doing something similar ,whether or not they'll do it

He need to stop now he wants to help working families

Ummm let me guess... Middle Class?

UDebt

People with money 💰

He should cut tax on savings and investment income to 0%.

And yet, our national debt continues to grow. Trump is a carrot dangler and I don’t believe a single word that comes out of his mouth.

So how big are we going to grow the deficit? SenateGOP HouseGOP SenSasse PHONY FUCKS.

Lol, what about the deficit?

before any talk of cutting taxes, can we try and fix health care and social security being underfunded for the future payments? I know cutting taxes are cool around election time.

Didn't he float this lie before the 2018 election? Why isn't that mentioned. CNBC just gobbles up this garbage.

Something tells me he thinks America can file bankruptcy like all of his other businesses 🙄🙄

Something tells me he things America can file bankruptcy like all of his other businesses 🙄🙄

we dnt need dirty money..just go away

Stop it! Tax cut 1.0 already increased my tax last year. I’m a tad below the middle.

Remove the SALT limit dude! Pissing off Libertarians in California is a stupid move realDonaldTrump

Estate tax is theft

One more lie from our president...... pure political campaign

Let me guess... the rich and powerful?

Is he aiming for lowest revenue and highest spending possible? 😆

He will win again.

Could? 😂😂😂

Anybody asking where this money is coming from?

Now he admits the last tax cuts benefited the wealthy.

This man has successfully done 6 bankruptcies! He is busy with his 7th, only thing is this time he will take this country with him! Deficit is at 1.2 Trillion next year and debt is 110% of GDP! In all sense of the word we are already BROKE!

Hint, it’s the middle class.

POTUS maybe SenSchumer should tell the TheJusticeDept how it is that he gets great tickets to the Yankees and other events for he and his family

Most people I know paid more taxes after Tax Cut 1.0.

Are you still trying to figure out who to vote for? Huh? 🚀📈🇺🇸

Republicans Deficit raise 2.0 is killing grandkids

Wall st.

Strongly endorse POTUS and larry_kudlow bringing Tax Cuts 2.0 into the lexicon of the American people soon! Would be an added economic treat to have the Personal Savings Rate into the double digits in 2021 and beyond. Right now it is still strong at ~8%, but they need this!

Hahahaha - who would fall for that again

Oh please. We've heard that so many times now that we know it's all cow offal

Deficit goes to roof

You mean Kool-Aid 2.0? ....

‘Tax cuts Mk11’ has more impact than ‘just tax cuts 2.0’ In my opinion anyway.

Gee, since that last tax cut you gave the top 20% the National Debt is now $23,103,072,268,268 - last time I looked. What's a tax cut going to do to get our children's, children's, children, etc. out of tax slavery?

Should have done that the first time instead of using fire power on Corporate tax cuts.

Then who pays for america?

If they're serious about 'making America great again' (a vague bit of drivel if there ever was such), then let's restore the tax rates of the 1950's.

Never. Gonna. Happen.

we need to raise taxes, not lower them.

You get what you pay for American.

More deficits?

Everyone who has been paying income taxes.
