Much to do about nothing

Even regular citizens get a break after doing much worse. Try being a police officer for a year and see how many will cave. Then try doing it for 20+ years to make it to Chief. Shame on those who placed her on leave.

People with diplomatic status get out of tickets. Good for her!

Was she asked by the stopped guy to see her badge, if so, she was doing her job.

What about the officer that let them go?

I don't think this matters at all. 🤔 Let her go! It keeps morale up and is not hurting anyone. If it was a DUI or something that would be a bigger deal. But also it is only a golf cart. I am more concerned with city council members manipulating zoning laws for gain.

Lol how is this a story? Literally nothing to see here.

Breaking national news...

Lmao she was in a golf cart. I thought one of the perks of being a cop was getting a little leeway for minor crap like this. Not like she was actually breaking a serious law or anything.

I want to know how many people stopped for speeding and are not police officers and let go with just a warning

Did she flip her hair and bat her eyes too... 🙄

Give us a break! The current so-called president of the United States had Twitter suppress information for political gain. Perhaps we could put our focus THERE!

What is wrong with people who get into places of power?! This bright lass should be charged and fired!

So what

Are you kidding me … 3/4 of officers would be fired if that were the case.

So, I would too!

Regrettable but not normal behavior at TPD. She asked for a courtesy as one officer to another officer of a different district.

Why not. That’s what they do with violent felons in New York.
