The explosion came as a senior U.S. diplomat was visiting Kabul to brief Afghan President Ashraf Ghani on a draft peace accord reached with the insurgents that could see thousands of U.S. troops withdrawn from Afghanistan. It was followed by a second, smaller explosion that occurred as generators inside the compound blew up.

Interior Ministry spokesman Nasrat Rahimi said five civilians were killed in the blast and 50 wounded.

This is the natural form of signature that rogue regimes and terrorists use to affix on any agreement, now and in the past and in the future. The US should leave this Godless place without a shred of a paper signed with the Taliban, and let the devil take the hindmost!

Lesson: Weapons of Mass Destruction infuse false sense of courage. He who can fight with equal weapons is courageous.

Sounds peaceful to me. Get the Marine choppers on the way to the U.S. Embassy for rooftop evacuation.

If the taliban are fighting to get Americans out, why kill people when a deal is being reached for us troops to leave? Wouldn’t that mean they would remain there.

If this were was the Philadelphia Parking Authority, it would get the yellow boot TonyBrunoShow

Amazing negotiation and peace deal. If US wanna leave Afghanistan but Afghans want some sort of forces to stay & help them till they fully own security then only option is UN peace keeping force with mandate to actively assist Afg. Forces.

Peaceful Taliban. What a Pity! Majority by its silence support It

The religion of peace why is it that this always happens right on the verge of a peace agreement, it's almost like there's a deep state that doesn't want there to be peace. Don't they have anything better to do?
