It’s a big job to exhume the bones of old stories. Mixed in with those bones is detritus, left behind by the hundreds of reporters who traipsed about this city and province for more than a century.Just on the sports side, the digging grounds are deep in papers, programs, photos, negatives, knick-knacks, press releases. We stuff filing cabinets and desk drawers, some of them scattered into far-flung areas of our very large building.
