T-Mobile and Verizon have shut down a controversial iPad rebate promotion that saw a number of customers complain that they never received the $200 gift card that they were supposed to receive.

, several of the carriers' customers who followed the rules of the promotion did not receive their rebate and some were told that the promotion never existed.

There is no mention of the iPad rebate promotion on the websites belonging to Apple, T-Mobile, and Verizonand iPad, the carriers also denied rebates that were promised to some iPhone buyers as well.
