The actor filmed an emotional Instagram Live on Saturday, May 8 after she came across hurtful comments on Twitter about her appearance. “I would never actually do this,” a tearful Sydney says while looking at the camera. “Like ever. But I think it’s really important for people to see how words actually affect people.”
She went on to acknowledge the common advice about avoiding negative comments online. “I know how everyone says ‘you can’t read things!’ or ‘you shouldn’t read things!’” Sydney said. “But like I’m a f*cking person…. People need to be nicer on social media. Cause it’s really f*cked up.”
This is pretty rich coming from your publication while your social media manager christinedavitt still has not been fired for using the N word over Twitter several times.
