Susan Boyle revealed she suffered a stroke last year and had to regain her iconic voice.
The Scottish singer shared the news after taking the stage on “Britain’s Got Talent” Sunday with the West End cast of “Les Misérables” to sing “I Dreamed a Dream,” the song that made her a household name when she was a contestant on the show in 2009. “It feels great,” Boyle, 62, responded when hosts Dec Donnelly and Ant McPartlin asked how it felt to return. “It is extra special for me actually because last April … I suffered a minor stroke.Susan Boyle shared that she suffered a stroke last year.The Scottish singer said she “worked so hard” to get her speech and her singing back.After her comeback performance, “BGT” creator and judge Simon Cowell shared some words of encouragement for Boyle.
