In a Wednesday interview on Good Morning America, Surgeon General Jerome Adams said the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention had been asked to review its guidance on wearing masks.
"Even if you do wear a mask, it can't be at the expense of social distancing," he continued, noting a mask like an N95 would not be necessary because it could come at the expense of health care workers who needed one. "CDC does not recommend that people who are well wear a facemask to protect themselves from respiratory illnesses, including COVID-19. You should only wear a mask if a healthcare professional recommends it. A facemask should be used by people who have COVID-19 and are showing symptoms," says the CDC's guidance on COVID-19 protection.there was "no specific evidence" to suggest there was any"particular benefit" to the mass public wearing masks.
After two months of publicly knowing. They now are planning. How about implementing. Bunch of inconpentence. And again big mouth repubs are silent.
The CDC has been behind the curve this entire time. They have one job every 10 years and have failed miserably

Being afraid of political repercussions should never stop a good leader from making the right decisions. Life will be preserved. Yet here in Florida the governor wants to be babysat by the white house at a time of crisis. Not a leader but a sorry follower.
We all know what will happen. We’ll all be told to wear masks. There won’t be enough masks and Trump will just say that the suggestion to wear masks is fake news. Then the masks will become available and he’ll say that he had the perfect response to the coronavirus.
