Surfside building collapse latest: Death toll climbs to 9 as search for survivors goes on

, as a massive search and rescue mission continued into its fourth day on Sunday, officials said.

Any not crushed dead by the collapse must have died of dehydration by now. (It will be sad if they discover any.) They soon to dig so slowly, as if with teaspoons and bucket brigade? Have the 'rescue' teams never heard of VACUUM TRUCKS?

I wish I had the ear of the building inspector to ask if a minor earthquake could have been the catalyst for the condo to collapse. Was this the last straw for the collapse ? The explosion that USGS picked up as a 3.7 quake on June 19 9:04 AM. It came down about 1:00 am June 24.

If you were in China, 3 days would have cleared the surface. I'm curious how the US rescue teams, are still milling around on the surface of the collapsed buildings, are they taking a walk

The search and rescue seem very inefficient and disorganized. How many hours has it been? No further update from the rescue site at all? 150+ missing and only 9 confirmed victims? Meaning they only found 9 so far.

This situation is so awful! It looks so suspicious because the building came down like it imploded. Shouldn't it have fallen differently if were just structural damage?
