The 44-year-old attorney, who lives in York, had been practicing law in Pennsylvania for 18 years. The Pa. Supreme Court suspended him for not disclosing two DUIs and a contempt of court conviction as well as several other forms of misconduct.

A central Pennsylvania attorney was suspended by the state Supreme Court after an investigation found he failed to disclose multiple DUI convictions, misappropriated payments from clients while working at several law firms and sent inappropriate messages — including soliciting drugs — to clients who retained him between 2022 and 2024, according to a report from the court’s Office of Disciplinary Council .

James F. Logue, 44, of York, has been practicing law in Pennsylvania since April 2006. He last worked at Christopher Reibsome Law in Greencastle, Pa., but the ODC noted he has not been employed since February and worked at four different law firms in the last year. The ODC said Logue did not disclose three convictions, two for DUI at the highest rate of alcohol and a contempt of court conviction, and has shown “progressively concerning misconduct.” At one law firm he was terminated after four days for not being honest about his convictions, the ODC report said.If you purchase a product or register for an account through a link on our site, we may receive compensation.
