The Supreme Court’s decision to strike down Roe v. Wade will disproportionately impact poorer women and persons of color and “inevitably exacerbate our already vast disparities in wealth and health,” New England Journal of Medicine’s editors wrote.

“‘Without federal protection, recent state laws curtailing or eliminating the right to abortion care will deny Americans’ reproductive autonomy and create an Orwellian dystopia.’”

“These changes,” they wrote, “will inevitably exacerbate our already vast disparities in wealth and health.” The road to Friday’s decision was long and painful and based on a misleading notion, the authors continued. The “fig-leaf justification” behind the abortion restrictions recently introduced in states including Oklahoma and Texas, according to the journal editors, is that induced abortion is dangerous and requires tighter regulations to protect that health of women who have one.

A recent New York Times article highlighted the far greater risks women faced before Roe vs. Wade was adopted in 1973, the authors wrote. “They described humiliating circumstances, unsafe procedures literally performed in back alleys, and the deep shame and stigma they endured,” they wrote. The decision also has implications for certain contraceptive devices, it continued. “Use of postcoital contraception, either hormonal contraception or placement of an intrauterine device, could be equated with abortion and prosecuted; some jurisdictions are already considering such actions,” the journal editors wrote.

Didn't you guys write an article saying that inflation is good. Your future telling skills are not that great.

Funny, the same thing would happen without conceal carry but thats not important to the left!

That’s the sickest part of this, republican and fake Christians were only concerned about ‘white’ women getting abortions, which they still will, just in other places, wait until they see all these Black women having kids, bloop!

I’m convinced literally anything and everything has a disproportionate impact on “women and person of color”

Congress job... Supreme Court analyze the constitutionality of the laws and day to day problems or differences among society and Congress and Executive Branch

Everyone has the ability to control whether this ruling actually affects them. Let’s not make this so political.

In other words abort poor children because they’re poor… How sophisticated…

How's the stock market doing?

Nah… we good. Don’t put that on us. FOH

Abortion exclusively impacts poor women of color ... And their unborn babies.

Sez doctors profiting from fetal body parts for research.
