According to the poll, 91 percent of Democrats support stricter gun laws, while only 24 percent of Republicans agree.

Americans' support for stricter gun laws has dropped to the lowest level since 2014, according to a new poll.

The poll, which was conducted by Gallup, found that 52 percent of Americans said they think that laws surrounding the sale of firearms should be more strict. The percentage of Americans supporting stricter gun laws is the lowest the poll has recorded since 2014, when less than 50 percent of respondents said they were in favor of stricter gun laws.

According to the poll, 35 percent of Americans said they believe that gun laws should remain the same while 11 percent said they think gun laws should be less strict. The Gallup poll has been tracking Americans' views on gun laws since 1990 when 78 percent of people who responded said they supported stricter gun laws, the highest the poll has ever recorded.

The poll showed that after 2014, the support for stricter gun laws increased, with 67 percent of Americans saying they support stricter gun laws in 2018. However, after 2018, the support has since decreased over the past several years, dropping a total of 15 points from then until this year.

Experts say gun charge dropped in Rittenhouse trial was result of poorly worded lawThe dismissal of a misdemeanor weapons charge against high-profile murder defendant Kyle Rittenhouse is likely to ignite a statehouse debate over how to fix what the judge in the case called unclear and two legal experts called poorly worded Wisconsin legislation. That was the only charge I thought was definite. That kid is going to walk out of court 100% acquitted! I'm no expert, but I'd say it was the result of a completely biased judge who should be removed from the bench and sent to anti-racist training.

Historic Enablers of Sexual Abuse Debate Whether Joe Biden Can Get CommunionThe U.S. Roman Catholic Bishops will vote this week on whether President Biden, who supports abortion rights, can take Holy Communion. About being enablers not sure. What I know is scriptually they cannot decide who gets communion if indeed communion is Christ. Christ is beyond the Church's control. They cannot judge as they will be judged. Leave salvation/redemption to discretion of humans, they save Barabas Church can deny humans a substance, not body of Christ. When desciples took a child 4 a nuisance, Jesus 'let children come to me'. When they complained of 'others' healing in his name he didn't back them. Is it a substance/body of Christ? The later has no patent/copyright/deed There were never restrictions on communion. Those are human rules designed to support certain behaviours. That are considered acceptable to the institution. Christ instructed his followers to break bread & drink wine in memory of him.
