Supervisor Nathan Fletcher on the 2022 election, jail deaths, mental health and more [Opinion]

Democratic incumbent supervisor/educator Nathan Fletcher is running for re-election on the San Diego County Board of Supervisors District 4, which includes Clairemont, Hillcrest, La Mesa, Lemon Grove and Spring Valley, among other areas. He is challenged on the Nov. 8 ballot by Republican small business owner Amy Reichert.

Fletcher met with The San Diego Union-Tribune Editorial Board on Sept. 22 to discuss the 2022 general election and local and national issues such as the sheriff’s race, jails, homelessness, the U.S.-Mexico border and more.

San Diego apologizes for support of WWII detention campsSAN DIEGO (AP) — The San Diego City Council rescinded a resolution it passed 80 years ago in support of the incarceration of Japanese Americans in prison camps during World War II. During a meeting Tuesday, council members called the camps and the 1942 resolution supporting them racist and unjust. And approved the use of motor vehicles on streets. This is the greatest surprise all my life to wake up and receive $16,000 out of $1000 investment after so many tries I finally found a Legit platform for investment.
