News 12 Storm Watch Meteorologist Sam Augeri says it will feel like June outside by Thursday afternoon ahead of chances for rain over the weekend.

More nice, warm weather Thursday with temperatures in the mid to upper 70s along the North Shore and 60s around the South Shore and East End.

Dry weather is around through Saturday with some showers arriving at night. Still some questions for timing of rain on Sunday but now the morning is looking a little bit drier with showers in the afternoon and evening. Long Island Marathon is Sunday and the weather looks good for runners with cooler temperatures, spectators will have to dodge some showersMostly cloudy with patchy fog. Lows near 50 with southeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Sunrise: 5:49Morning clouds and fog give way to afternoon sun with warm temperatures. Highs near 72. South southwest winds 5 to 10 mph. Sunset: 7:50.
