Many parents are feeling the heat as summer camp prices continue to rise across the United States, making it difficult for families to afford full-time camp for their children.

On top of working a full-time job and raising two kids, Jamie Aderski also posts videos on TikTok. Many parents across the country are feeling the heat even though summer is still a few months away. That's because summer camp prices are soaring across the United States .

"There was another camp that I was looking at but they wanted me to put $2,000 down and I'm like I don't have $2,000 cash to put down," Aderski said.by Summer Camp Hub, overnight camps in 2024 cost an average of $175-$325/day. Day camps are a little less, costing $70-$120. But add those numbers up for two, four, six or even eight weeks and that's thousands of dollars.

Inflation is an issue that cuts across all categories and increases the cost of many goods and services including summer camp," Economides said.
