Experts at Unifury say the number one state most likely to spoil mothers for the annual holiday is California. The study found there were 12,618 peak monthly Google searches related to Mother’s Day per 100,000 residents. It's 24.1% above the national average of 10,168 peak monthly searches for the holiday per 100,000 residents.
Next on the list is New York, with 19.9% more than the national average, and third is Nevada, with 19.5% higher searches compared to other states.“Mother’s Day is a time to celebrate the special women in our lives who helped raise us or helped raise our families," said Tan Vo, owner of Unifury, in a news release. "It can be for our mothers, grandmothers, wives, significant others, or any other people that we choose to celebrate and honor for all their hard work with this.
