Adults who have received an ADHD diagnosis experience improved functioning, better health-related quality of life, and stronger self-esteem compared to adults who demonstrate symptoms of ADHD but have no diagnosis, according to a new study.

In this study, the impact of an ADHD diagnosis was inferred by comparing outcomes in participants diagnosed with ADHD and those with ADHD-like symptoms but no previous clinical diagnosis. 444 diagnosed participants were compared to 1,055 symptomatic participants within the same sex-by-age group using propensity score matching.

Participants in the undiagnosed group were significantly more likely than the others to be first-generation American, non-white, unemployed, or suffer from depression,Sociodemographic characteristics and comorbid conditions were then used to match the two groups, and comparisons were made between 436 diagnosed participants and 867 undiagnosed participants.

State Dept. veteran on Trump White House: There are no adults in the room'This is not a whimsical comment by the president on the call with the president of Ukraine. This was, in fact, the White House policy ... to try to leverage military aid to Ukraine for a political favor,' fmr. State Dept. veteran P.J. Crowley says. In the room? Hell, in the entire GOP WhiteHouse ! No adults. Anywhere! We know through his own admission that Trump asked Ukraine, China, Australia and London to help him find dirt on the Bidens. He wasn't asking for help w/the economy or election security. He was asking for himself and presidents can't do that. It's in the constitution. Simply not true.. I read the transcript, probably before the actual Whistleblower did..msnbc lies to America.. swamp is deep!
