Studio Ghibli Films to be Shown in Theaters Nationwide

14 different movies from Studio Ghibli co-founders Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata as well as directors Yoshifumi Kondo , Hiroyuki Morita , and Hiromasa Yonebayashi will be shown, beginning with Ghibli’s previous Oscar-winning film. The overwhelming success of our special tribute to Hayao Miyazaki in 2023 confirmed the enduring legacy of the Studio Ghibli films and the passion that fans have when it comes to seeing these classics in the theater.

We’re excited to bring those very fans more of what they want this year, especially through another exciting collaboration with GKIDS. Last year, millions of people had the magical experience of seeing Studio Ghibli on the big screen.
