Student offers to give test points to classmate with lowest score

Don't work hard. Just wait for the hand out. I think the 'everyone gets a trophy' mentality is a problem.

How is this different from giving answers to students taking the test? Cheating is cheating, either way. The professor helped these students cheat. No heroes here.

It doesn’t matter if his “bonus points” can be given to another student but that he is just a kind person and that is what is important.

The real question is: what are the teachers doing to correct this way of thinking? Students can’t share points just like that. We live in a competitive world where discipline, character and diligence is rewarded. Sorry but it shouldn’t be any form of socialism in the classrooms

Kudos for this student :D To help someone else out who may not test well, even though they may know the material inside and out, is a great show of his character. And to the nay-sayers, are you really that unhappy that you cannot show empathy for someone else?
