If you peel back this onion, the cost of education is exploding b/c teachers at all levels have entitlement benefits that are extreme compared to Main Street USA! The cost of early retirement w/high % defined benefits & rich lifetime healthcare is NOT AFFORDABLE!

Reduce college costs by 25%: Colleges should offer students the choice to earn a Career Focused Degree & take only courses related to their major. No more Art History, Philosophy Psychology or English classes after H.S. Cut out 1 full year of tuition, fees and living expenses.

50% of people that go to college really shouldn’t have even gone in the first place

THIS is a national emergency!!!!

Government + banks + universities= somebody is getting screwed.

Emotions, a lack of self-control, and and a lack of financial education play a huge part in this.

Congress has failed tremendously on resolving the studentdebt crisis. Restore bankruptcy protection and refinance all loans to very low interest rates.

It is a form of modern slavery.

You mean $1.5 trillion Receivable, don’t you? investing

Old people aren't go to pay for themselves

The student would not have his or her opportunity without the student loan!

Terrible, there is one way out! Don't study, become a road sweeper, keep the cleanest roads in you're City.

it is only students and our future. Nothing to care about.

Another crisis created by govt and encouraged by the lenders

youd think that those who consider themselves to be educated- would understand how loans work-

Wait how much does the wall cost ? 🤣

all those $$$ translated to what? Where’s the productivity? Innovation? Wasn’t the premise for these kind of loans to be repaid through skills acquired in College? The hypocrisy of higher ed - pay to learn - but don’t expect to get paid for what you’ve learned in college...

That debt weakens our economy, money for living expenses siphoned off by banks again. So many ways people aren’t able to save for their futures or even afford the basics of life.

For what, to study poetry, anthropology, psychology. Good luck finding a good career. Should have gone to a trade school and become a welder, plumber, electrician and made some real dough, without so much debt.

That students got themselves into! No one forced them and I shouldn’t have to pay off their debt! How about paying off my mortgage for me? Same thing!

Universities & colleges continue to pillage young students. StudentDebt studentloan

Borrowing $100,000 for a degree in Haiku is probably not wise!
