that even though drugmakers' "list prices" for insulin have surged, their "net prices" have grown at a more modest rate. The list price is how much the drugmaker charges. The net price is money the drugmaker gets after fees, discounts and rebates to wholesalers or pharmacy benefit managers.

Interesting story yet I know obese people who refuse to even make changes to their diet.i know one guy has had 3 toes removed and in danger of getting foot cut off yet drinks 3-5 32oz cokes a day

Shameful where is the damn Congress and the FDA. This is what their job is instead of that they spend all their time debating s... that doesn't matter. Please contact or Congrrssman and Senator to see if they can help. There are usually emergency vouchers you can apply for🙏🙏🙏

Stop with the soft drinks

This is what happens when courts rule price-gouging and monopoly rents are presumptively LEGAL. Those dry legal discussions: they have real consequences. The push for 'tort reform?' Generally, that means letting bad guys off the hook for wrongdoing.

Insulin should be free to everyone

This is absurd. More reason we need universal healthcare. America could implement it.

Despicable.
