These vendors have been physical, caused our beach to be riddled with their trash, are own beaches have had the worst water due to trash etc. They don't follow health code either. Watched a woman change a diaper, before serving food. Looks like Downtown LA with the vendors
This is by far the BIGGEST lie. These vendors have taken over the entire beach & pier sending locals elsewhere to relax. They threatened code enforcement at one point when told to move along.They take away money from other retailers & food spots. Police have NOT enforced either.
I was empathetic before reading the article, but not after. It says some of the drivers are unlicensed, some are blocking the path to the pier. I'm more concerned about attacks on innocent vendors by assailants. Vendor killed.
