Ryan Fellows, 41, was competing in an event outside of Las Vegas when he lost control of his turbocharged V-8-powered 240 and crashed. Fellows was participating in the eighth of nine planned races that evening. His car rolled and caught fire, with onlookers unable to get him out of the wreckage,"The Street Outlaws family is heartbroken by the accident that led to the tragic death of Ryan Fellows," Discovery said in a statement.
This isn't the first time the Street Outlaws series has been struck with tragedy. Co-star JJ Da Boss and his wife Tricia werewhile racing each other for the show earlier this year. Tricia was taken to the hospital. Back in 2020, cast member Christopher Scott Ellis—nickname"Kentucky"—died at just 39 years old.
