Netflix has just released the first eight minutes of the upcoming Stranger Things season 4. The season, which comes three years after season 3, partially due to pandemic-related production issues, has been split into two parts. Part 1 is coming in just one week on May 27, 2022, followed a month and a half later by Part 2 on July 1, 2022.
This season of Stranger Things will find the core cast split up across multiple locations. This includes a gulag in Russia, where Hopper must be rescued from a villainous group that has their own Demogorgon. Jonathan and Will Byers will also be dealing with the separation from their friends as they start school across the country in California.
Today on the official Stranger Things Twitter account, they shared the first eight minutes of the premiere episode of season 4. The post contains a reference to Matthew Modine's Dr. Brenner saying"What have you done?" This seems to be a reference to some sort of violent act that a young Eleven has committed, revealing the opening moments of the season to be a flashback to her time at Hawkins Lab.
