High winds and tornado warnings swept through parts of Ohio Wednesday."A confirmed rotation has caused significant damage to the city and powerlines and trees are down," the Bucyrus Police Department posted on social media.
"We was just watching TV, and next thing you know, it’s banging and stuff. Hitting both houses. So I looked out, and then I see all this lumber and stuff here, and then I went out front, and it was gone already. But then I walked over and seen the house was off of the foundation, so I knew it was more than high winds," Gerry told WSYX.
Bucyrus police warned drivers not to navigate around barricades or drive over or under downed lines that could still be electrified.Thankful to be alive, the deputy dropped his dog off across the street, went back to put on his uniform, and started searching for ways to help.
