Rep. Tom Reed (R-NY) said party politics was getting in the way of an agreement being made amid the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.

Reed has said he thinks a deal could be reached by year end but suggested that a focus on the Georgia races—set to determine control of the Senate—is distracting his colleagues in Congress.

"That is just in my opinion downright disappointing. Their priorities should be the American people, who are suffering, who need a stimulus package."Reed, who is co-chairman of the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus, suggested that if Congressional leaders cannot reach a deal they should"get out of the way" and let other leaders"do the job for you."

Ransom?

We can’t afford anymore stimulus.

People can't walk & chew gum, at the same time? WTH

Can't the GOP chew gum and walk at the same time? Just another excuse for not providing a stimulus for folks really hurting during this pandemic. Some folks with steady jobs and guaranteed incomes just don't understand what's going on out here in the rest of the country.

Idiots

Always the power grab. When will Republicans remember they are elected to SERVE?

Wtf the GOP are going to let people starve and get evicted because of the runoffs?
