If someone infected her she could lose her life. She also would lose a career and livelihood. Her vocal chords and lungs would never be the same just as they aren’t for a few musician friends I know. Fuck those who don’t get how insidious Covid is

I'm a big Stevie fan but frankly her voice left her long ago.
She still looks beautiful and amazing. I have seen her perform on 3 occasions and she hadn’t changed since the 70s I swear
People are such assholes in the comments. She’s a legend, and she’s right. Her voice is her talent and it’s fragile. She’s just recognizing the affect Covid has on vocalists. I appreciate the honesty...it makes you think.
That's a little pessimistic. First of all, she doesn't even have it. Second, some get it worse than others - many who've had it and recovered were never on a ventilator. Third, if she does get it and end up on a ventilator, maybe it won't affect her voice long-term.

Hoarse is part of her voice quality. Unless there's something we don't know she should be around for a while. Stevie Nicks is a legend.
