Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott fist bumps Matthew Sabena, 15, before an NFL football game against the Cincinnati Bengals at AT&T Stadium on Sunday, Sept. 18, 2022, in Arlington.executive vice president Stephen Jones told 105.3 The Fan before his team’s game against the Bengals on Sunday that quarterback Dak Prescott could return sooner than the projected month he’s expected to miss from a fractured right thumb.
If Prescott suffered a break into the joint, called an intra-articular fracture, he would be projected to miss six to eight weeks. The Cowboys’ fourth game of season is Oct. 2 against Washington at AT&T Stadium, with the fifth game an Oct. 9 at the Los Angeles Rams. Jerry Jones, the Cowboys’ team owner, said earlier this week the team has hopes Prescott can return within the next four weeks.
But if Stephen Jones is correct in his projection, Prescott might return against Washington and miss only two games since suffering the injury.
Who cares?
They would be better if they traded him. Not the best qb on team
