US hands out $11 billion to states and territories to help with testingThe United States Health and Human Services Department said Monday it is delivering $11 billion in new funding to states and territories to help them test people for coronavirus. We need to open up most places now. The lockdowns were never meant to eradicate the virus, but to not overwhelm healthcare resources by flattening the curve. Considering that this has happened in most areas and the death rate is way lower than initially thought, we need to open. Nothing like paying 11 billion to do testing on people that could test negative in the morning and be positive by dinner.
