“We shouldn’t be penalizing the people who showed up to work, at great risk to themselves and their families, while we were locked down,” Judge Porzio wrote. He accused Dr. David Chokshi, the former city health commissioner, of overstepping his powers in terminating city employees. The mandate was later extended to the private sector in December. By the spring, current Mayor Eric Adams allowed certain carve-outs for performers and athletes, before“There is nothing in the record to support the rationality of keeping a vaccination mandate for public employees, while vacating the mandate for private sector employees or creating a carveout for certain professions, like athletes, artists, and performers,” he wrote.
Mayor Adams is ignoring the State Supreme Court ruling AND the Constitution! That man must IMMEDIATELY be removed from the Mayor's Office and arrested for TREASON!
Why should I have to pay them for their refusal to do the very least to help the city survive They made a choice to not get vaccinated Any chance this can be appealed? If not the city needs to weed these 🤬 out ‘for cause’ asap

Prohibit NYC dog owners from having their dogs defecate & urinate on city sidewalks. It’s become excessive. A health hazard. A destruction of our quality of life. Either enforce curbing the dogs (in the street to be picked up) or require it to be done in their homes. NYCesspool

'Staten Island judge' says it all I guess schools won't/can't require Measles/Mumps/Rubella vaccines now either. Let the kids suffer for right-wing conservative ignorance, huh? That wasn't a question. They already are. At least the ones not being shot dead in their classrooms.
O look. They brought the lawsuit to a friendly partisan judge and got the result they wanted. Yawn. It will eventually be overturned by the court of appeals.
