State NFL roundup: Former Alabama prep QB scores his first TD to lift Bengals

· Bengals kicker Evan McPherson made two 40-yard goals and four extra points as he went 6-for-6.· Jaguars offensive lineman Chandler Brewer is on the practice squad and not eligible to play. · Tyreek Hill started at wide receiver for the Dolphins. Hill had eight receptions for 181 yards and one touchdown. Hill joined Wes Welker as the only players in NFL history with at least 150 receiving yards and a TD reception in three of their team’s first five games in a season. With his 11th game with at least 150 receiving yards and one touchdown catch, Hill moved into a tie for fourth place in NFL history with Torry Holt, trailing Lance Alworth , Jerry Rice and Calvin Johnson .

· Reed Blankenship started at safety for the Eagles. Blankenship led Philadelphia with seven tackles. · Nicholas Morrow started at middle linebacker for the Eagles. Morrow made five tackles and recorded one tackle for loss. · Broncos cornerback Tremon Smith recovered a muffed punt to put Denver on the New York 39-yard line trailing 18-13 in the third quarter, but the Broncos fumbled the football back to the Jets two snaps later.
