The fair will follow CDC guidelines and local mandates, a spokeswoman says.

The State Fair of Texas will follow CDC guidelines and local mandates in an attempt to keep fairgoers safe from COVID-19 in 2022, a spokeswoman says.

“If anyone is experiencing COVID-related symptoms or other contagious illness-related symptoms, we ask they do the Texan thing and stay home to prevent the spread of any viral infections,” a statement says.
