The U.S. State Department yesterday issued 'do not travel' warning to China amid coronavirus outbreak by rachsandl

The increased travel alert is the most severe warning U.S. officials have issued yet in relation to coronavirus. The department said that Americans currently in China should consider departing using commercial means. The virus has infected 7,818 people and killed 170. No one outside of China has died from the disease, though it has spread to 18 other countries.

There have been five reported cases of coronavirus in the U.S., but health officials say the risk of the disease spreading in the U.S. is relatively low and note that Americans are at
